Tub Time!

This is his favorite letter!

This is my favorite face that he does

The latest greatest of Finn. He has a new favorite trick. We bought him these little alphabet letters that go in the tub, and all Finn wants to do is stick them in his mouth. He will keep the letter in his mouth the whole tub time. It is pretty entertaining to watch.

Pajama Time

Those cute pajamas are from Grandma Kris. She sent them in a package that day. They look pretty cute on him
That little shiny thing on his bottom gum is his first tooth!
Yawning... Hmmm.. Both Dad and Finn are looking a little sleepy
More yawning..
Finn is getting ready to go to bed, but not until mom has to take a couple of pictures.

Finn and his first kiss

Lindy and Finn went to visit our friends the Porter's yesterday. Their little girl Maddi is the cutest little thing. Lindy is trying to set up an agreement for an arranged marriage! Finn and Maddi seemed to hit it off quite well!

3 weeks away...

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. We are sure that you have been waiting anxiously, on the verge of Spencer-withdrawal. We have been out of town for the past few weeks visiting family, fishing, going to ten year reunions, and relaxing. It was very nice but now we are back in Denver, back in the grind. Finn has some new tricks that we wish you all could see. He is officially crawling into everything, has sprouted a tooth, and thinks he is the world's greatest climber. He has taken some great spills but is quickly learning to fall with more grace. He keeps us (especially Lindy) very busy. Here are some pictures of the trip and some other fun stuff:
We actually started the month-0-fun off with the Mawhinney clan here in Denver. We all went to the Rockies game on the 4th of July. Never have we felt more American. We lifted the next two pictures from the Mawhinney's blogsite:

In-your-face fireworks are the best.

We started the road trip by stopping in Glenwood Springs for a healing rinse in the hot springs. Unfortunately, it was wind and got cold quick so we didn't stay too long. We hit the town and then went to our little camping cabin for the night, taking a moment on the porch swing to feed the mosquitoes. After Glenwood, we drove to Richfield to see G-pa and G-ma Freeman. It is always great seeing them and they took good care of us. Apparently, we had so much fun that we didn't take any pictures.

We were then off to Fish Lake with the Spencer family (minus Doug, Rachel, and Ava). We stayed in some really nice cabins and reconnected with nature. We went out on some big party boat and Finn had a good time watching all his cousins bounce about the boat. He is on Aunt Jodi's lap here.

Jesse caught a fish for the first time in about ten years. He now believes that he and his trusty pole are meant to fish often.

This is the crew after we cleared the lake of fish. The trout were especially tasty.

Family picture at the creek.

Here is a great picture of Jesse's bum (right) and Gpa Neil's bum on a ride in the Fish Lake area.

After a few days at Fish Lake, it was off to the Salt Lake valley to visit more family and such. This is a little pit stop in Santaquin, Ut, former home of the Scott Hiatt family. We were able to eat fresh cherries with them for a bit before hitting the road again.

Although we spent two good weeks in Salt Lake visiting with family and friends, we have few pictures to show for it. Above is Lindy stuffing her face with an Owl Dog. We went to a minor league Orem Owls game and had the all-American experience. Below are some more pictures from the game:

Now back at home, Finn just had his 9 month appointment. He is doing really well. He is still off the charts (on the low side) for weight but is now a whopping 15 pounds and 2 ounces. Monster! He is a little crazy and doesn't really like sitting still for anything, even if it means a shirt gets stuck over his head.
