Hum-drums

We very well may be the owners of the most boring blog on the internet. Two weeks have passed and we don't have anything exciting to blog about once again. Finn is crazy as ever, getting into everything and throwing it on the floor. The kid can't sit still for more than two minutes. He has been picking up some new tricks- pointing to body parts, making noises of animals, and calling anything round a "ball". We still struggle to put the pounds on the guy but find hope in his new found love of Trix cereal and Teddy Grahams. Finn and Jesse survived a weekend alone as Lindy went to Park City for a girls-only trip (pictures coming later) and both are extremely happy to have the woman back in the home. We are all hoping that spring will spring soon so that we can get the wiggles out somewhere besides our little home. Here are a few recent pictures and a little video of the bambino:

Finn actually really likes wearing stuff on his head. We much prefer actual hats than when he puts blankets on his head, covering his whole face, and walks around the house, inevitably bumping into something and falling over.
Finn with his two best ladies- Ms. Maddi and Ms. Halle.
At the zoo earlier today. The animals were all crazy and mean to each other and we have never heard the zoo be so loud. We think love must be in the air.

Trying to feed the giraffes.
The dragon thing in the background.

Playing on bacon at the mall.

It may take a little coaching, but his kid-tricks are really in there.

"Groundhogs' Day" is one of the greatest movies ever

We really have nothing new or exciting to report. Things are going well here and we pray for warmer days so that we can get Finn out of the house a little more often. We have all been sick this week and have had a great parenting experience cleaning up puke, boogers, and other horrifying bodily fluids. It was a Groundhog's Day miracle that we didn't sell the little boy to the gypsies after this week. He continues to give us heartburn over sleeping and eating and boogers everywhere, but we figure that is what we signed up for when we decided we were big enough to have kids. Anyways, here are a few fun pictures from the last couple of weeks:

I don't know how it is possible to fall asleep over such a delicious meal as McChicken McNuggets, but Finn found a way.

We have a new way of entertaining the boy when we need to get some things done around the house. We sit him on "Henry", his octopus chair (thanks Grannie Kris), and put him a foot away from the T.V. It works for about 5-10 minutes.

Watching "Robin Hood". Every town has its ups and downs. Sometimes ups outnumber the downs. But not in Nottingham.

Finndy.

We went to the Jazz-Nuggets game here in Denver a couple of weeks ago (thanks for the tickets Neil and Beck) and the Jazz got worked. They play again here this Wednesday and Jesse is going on a man-date to the game. If they don't win, he will probably burn the green shirt.

This seems to be the only way Lindy can get Finn to sleep in his crib.

Yes... That is Lindy sleeping in Finn's crib with him. What a spoiled little stink we are raising!

Dancing with Dan Zanes

Finn has turned into quite the shaker. He can hardly sit still when there is any music. He especially likes Dan Zanes and the following is his latest, greatest moves. You should be warned that it gets a little repititious- lots of going around in circles but entertaining nonetheless. We are hoping to see his uncles soon (who grew up in the 80's) so that they can teach him how to breakdance and wear fake gold chains and clip-on earings from Grannie Becky's closet. Rad.

Happy New Year

Well, the holidays, and the hangover, are over. We hope you all had a good one. We were able to go back to Utah to see family and friends. It was a little crazy but good to see everybody nonetheless. We stuffed bags of luggage but as is our style, forgot the cameras. Ah poop. Jesse is done with his interviews and now we are trying to figure out which program/place is going to work best for us. The match day is still months away (mid-March) but we know that we will be leaving Denver for sure come June-time. Here are a few pictures from other cameras over the holidays:
What a cute scene. The whole bunch acting out their parts from the scriptures for the Christmas program at the Spencer house.
Finn as a shepherd boy, stealing the pink necklace that the wise men brought.

Lindy blowing out her birthday candles with a little help from the boys. There were way too few candles.

Our new favorite toy, giant monkeys in a barrel.

Some Family Photos

Our lovely friends the Deans took these pictures for us this fall. They were taken here in Denver at Cherry Creek Park. The last picture is their little boy Eddison. Him and Finn are quite the little pals... And I hope it stays that way. Eddison is almost a month younger than Finn and Finn is the runt as you can see. We're hoping Eddison will protect him when they grow up!

First time meeting Santa

Jesse was down in Fort Collins interviewing for residency on Thursday so I thought it would be fun to have Finn's picture taken with Santa and surprise Jesse when he got home. I am not sure if Finn liked Santa or not. He was either tired or terrified but he didn't cry until the very end when mom bent down to look at the pictures on the computer screen and Finn bawled his eyes out on Santa's lap. But the picture turned out pretty cute!. Enjoy.

Interviews and Holidays...

A quick note to let you know that we are alive and well. I am sure that the mass amount of people who read this have all been worried sick. Jesse has had interviews over the past few weeks and we have been visiting family in between. It has been crazy and we are only about half done. We took a total of zero pictures over the past month (although the camera and video camera were lugged along with us on our road trip) so here are a couple of somewhat-oldie-but-goodies:

Tough guys wear dino pajama tops.
